Sales-Home Security

Description:

This position will be responsible for contacting Allconnect customers who have previously expressed interest in a home security product, guide them through the HomeForce options, and sign them up for new service.

Duties:

  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to assist customers with their home security needs in an outbound and inbound sales center environment.
  • Consistently reach monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
  • Effectively execute the entire sales process from opening to close
  • Demonstrate persistence, overcome objections and strive to improve your skills and sales performance
  • Effectively communicate and build relationships with customers to provide a world class customer experience
  • Present key selling points, features and benefits while remaining focused on the customer’s needs and expectations
  • Acquire and use deep knowledge of HomeForce security products and services
  • Study for and obtain certifications in some states
  • Must be able to ask for, and close the sale

Qualifications:

  • Computer skills that include typing, understanding of commonly used SW programs, and ability to navigate and learn to use proprietary programs.
  • Highly self motivated, energetic, results oriented and quota driven
  • Detail oriented in order to ensure accuracy of information delivered to consumers and recorded for processing.
  • Ability to understand product/service and communicate features and benefits during sales calls
  • Ability to build strong personal relationships over the phone and to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate easily with a wide range of individuals with a strong phone presence
  • Computer/Internet proficient
  • Must be over 18 years of age (Graduating HS students that will turn 18 this year are eligible)
  • Professionalism demonstrated through punctuality, good attendance and adherence to policies.
  • Strong verbal communication skills that deliver a confident, energetic presence over the phone.
No prior experience is required, however, the following are credentials that are highly preferred:
  • 2 years of work experience in a similar business environment.
  • 2 years of inside phone sales, call center or commissioned sales experience
  • Minimum 6 months related experience selling to individual consumers such as retail or restaurant experience.
  • Proven track record at achieving sales goals and quotas
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule working some weekend days and be off some weekdays.
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of post high school education is highly desirable
