Description: |
The Head Receptionist will be responsible for the following:
To ensure the provision of professional and pleasant service to each person that comes into the facility, including but not limited to members, staff and prospective customers
To lead and manage all of the other receptionists
Perform clerical duties based on the customer service efforts of the club

Duties: |
To work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
Handle membership issues, including billing inquiries for existing members: refer to G.M.
Inform members of club policies
Handle member and non-member inquiries
Answer phone in accordance with club policies and procedures and distribution of calls to
appropriate staff
Accurate and consistent message taking and delivery or transfer to voice mail
Greeting all members, guests and prospective members in a warm, friendly and professional manner and in accordance will all club policies and procedures
Member check-in: Insuring all club visitors are current members or guests who have been properly registered according to club policies. Collect all guest fees any status (refer to GM)
Accurate collection and cash register ring in of all monies collected
Accurate and consistent booking of all appointments and court booking according to club policies and procedures
Responsible to keep up to date on all club activities, special events and relevant policies and procedures
Responsible to promote club events as required
Responsible for accurate opening and closing procedures and recording of shift cash outs and balancing of cash
Responsible for daily inventory and other activity summarizes as required
Daily tracking of Group Fitness class attendance
Management: 10% of total time (to be performed during scheduled hours)
Recruiting: Conduct on-going job interviews for hi-potential employees
Tracking of supplies and placing supply orders twice a month
Conduct monthly performance reviews
Conduct mid-month performance spot checks
Payroll
Scheduling: Create and submit signed-off reception staff schedule (2 weeks at a time)

Education Required:
Must Have: High School Diploma
Preferred: Completed Post -Secondary
