L-3 Communications/D.P. Associates Inc in Arlington, VA is seeking people with 3D character animation experience.
This is NOT an entry level position!
We are looking for people with a working knowledge of the human body, facial expressions, proper human body and hand movement, and clothing techniques. This is not the job for you if all you have produced is game type or non-human characters.
We are using a motion capture system to capture realistic human movement; capturing, data cleanup and application to characters will also be one of your duties as a junior animator. Using a lip syncing program you will bring our characters that extra step into realism with realistic mouth movement and speaking parts.

Duties: |
- You will be working and learning from a premiere lead 3D Character Animator with many years experience. This will involve hard work on your part as you will be adding to the current animation team involving tight deadlines and short turnaround times.
- Multi-tasking is also necessary as you will be asked to work with Adobe Flash creating graphics and programming ActionScript. A working Flash background along with your abilities as a 3D animator moves you to the head of the list.

Qualifications: |
Ability to create/animate/lipsync 3D Characters and Adobe Flash CS4/5
Experience: Prefer 3 years of working experience this is a Junior Animator position
