Description: |
The Clinical Trainer coordinates orientation and clinical programs for new clinical staff members, develops programs to keep existing staff up-to-date, and acts as general resource for nursing/clinical personnel.
The Clinical Trainer is responsible for the assessment, planning, development, delivery and evaluation of training programs which improve employee and organizational performance.
The Clinical Trainer promotes the learning process through the use of adult learning principles and proven presentation and coaching methods.

Duties: |
Responsibilities/Duties
• Develop/deliver clinical training programs
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop training materials
• Develop/administer learning assessment tools (i.e. exams, quizzes, performance demonstrations, etc)
• Determine behavioral/performance objectives
• Assess student performance based on learning objectives
• Utilize appropriate evaluation methods to measure performance and competency
• Integrates interactive exercises into training
• Read audience cues and tailor presentation to needs
• Maintain/update clinical training materials
• Monitor calls to improve effectiveness of training programs
• Confront/resolve student issues in accordance with TMS Health policies
• Establish and maintain professional team relationships with peers, management and other departments
• Maintain records for all training/education activities
• Provide development of staff members by sharing knowledge, skills and expertise
• Positively promote department and company image
• Actively participate in department/organization performance improvement activities
• Other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications: |
Qualifications
• Advanced science degree or professional medical background required (NP, PA, RN)
• Current licensure in the state of Florida
• Significant experience working with health care practitioners
• Previous experience working in pharmaceutical sales preferred
• Direct experience in clinical/sales training preferred
• Diverse clinical background preferred
• Case management, disease management and/or health coaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of adult learning principles required
• 1 year experience working in a training/education role or related experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
• Group facilitation and stand-up presentation skills required
• Ability to manage own work load and priorities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in operating presentation/media equipment
