Description:

Perform administrative duties to support the sales and marketing team at a company specializing in secondary market computer hardware sales. The candidate should be passionate about sales with a desire to work his or her way up into the role of sales representative within our organization.

Duties:

• Database management
• Sales lead management
• Proposal printing and binding
• Telemarketing / Conducts outbound telephone calls generating qualified sales leads.
• Process purchase orders from sales to accounting departments and resolve any inter-departmental issues
• Conducts outbound calls to verify existing account profiles and uncover additional information as needed
• Assist sales and business development representatives with the following
o Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information via telephone, Internet Web sites, and other sources
o Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
o Learn knowledge of market conditions affecting product and incorporate such knowledge into sales strategies.
o Use company CRM system to organize sales opportunities and log all sales interactions
• Weekly and ad hoc reporting.
• Assist in communications and paperwork between sales and operations department.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The individual should be detail oriented with good communication skills and a desire to work in sales. The ability to work in a team environment is required, as is the ability to effectively manage varying and numerous tasks concurrently.

The person in this position will frequently be required to lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Computer Skills
Microsoft Office and Outlook are required. Experience with Contact Management Systems is a plus.

Required Education
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University. Major in sales & marketing is a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
