Director, REO Closing Operations

Description:

Foster and maintain optimal levels of client service and production of assigned business units.  Develops performance and quality standards and ensures department management staff is effectively leading their teams.  Quantify client and company requirements for staff.  Develop and implement strategies and tactics that will increase client satisfaction and improve corporate productivity.

 

Duties:

  • Review daily, all assigned Work in Progress reports to ensure completion of tasks.
  • Review turn around times for clients and identify deficiencies in Service Level Agreements to be addressed with President.
  • Review and adhere to new client setup protocol and procedure.
  • Manage training of account executives, managers, team leaders and team members.
  • Design and evaluate reports that depict client activity to ensure efficient team operations and client satisfaction.
  • Direct the daily functions of multiple closing management service teams for a client and/or multiple clients.
  • Manage workload issues across teams and propose and implement efficiency initiatives as deemed necessary.
  • Review staffing and productivity of department and present case for staffing changes to Vice-President.
  • Manage interdepartmental relationships as well as operations in other offices as well as outside vendors.
  • Prepare and/or review system enhancement proposals.
  • Prepare and administer performance reviews for the Closing Managers.
  • Prepare and review reporting as requested by Client.
  • Participate in the interview process and play a role in the hiring/firing process, if necessary.
  • Familiarize team members to new products, services, policies, and/or processes.
  • Conduct staff meetings to convey operational issues.
  • Communicate ServiceLink's and NationalLink's policies and procedures with team.
  • Monitor and manage all overtime and enforce the companies' policies and procedures throughout the department and identify issues that may require counseling with Human Resource Department.
  • Proactively improve client/vendor relationships with improved customer service and direct involvement with clients and/or vendors
  • Manage attendance for the Closing Managers.
  • Address transactional client issues as escalated by Managers.
  • Attend conference calls and marketing visits as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 - 7 years experience in the real estate, banking or vendor management industry.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of purchase real estate closing and title clearance processes. REO experience preferred
  • Must possess good organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and demonstrate good communication and customer service skills.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft software products.
