| The Clinical Application Specialist is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to improve clinical operations through implementation, upgrades, enhancements and use of technology and clinical point of care systems, manages and delivers decision support tools that are effective and that contributes to the success of clinical operations, and is responsible for special project development with end users in mind. The Clinical Application Specialist, at the direction of the Clinical Support Manager, will perform other duties as assigned. |
Qualifications: |
| Minimum 2 year degree required. Project development/management experience required. Computer experience and expertise with spreadsheet programs, word processing programs, and relational databases is required. Knowledge and experience with healthcare data processsing and clinical software packages is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and flexibility requried. Requires self-discipline to work alone and with groups to lead projects through to completion. |
