Accounting Policy and Control Analyst Temp or Contract

GENERAL SUMMARY

To assist Controller in leading a cross-functional team in the following:

• Document various companies' accounting processes.
• Provide training to increase the understanding of accounting department desktop procedure documentation format and organization. Create job aids, format templates and track progress of completion on company's internal intranet.
• Help the accounting groups to identify opportunities for process improvement and process control availability, and encourage positive change throughout the organization.   Candidate must demonstrate ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and be project-driven; demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, persuasive writing and oral communication skills; be highly proficient in Microsoft products including Visio, Word and Outlook.  

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• 2+ years accounting process analyst experience
