Description: | Application reviewer must familiarize him/herself with multiple requirements in order to assist applicants who must document completion of those requirements through transcripts, course descriptions and syllabi. Position requires clear, detailed and concise written and verbal communication with professionals aimed at assisting them in understanding how their educational background does or does not meet the educational requirements for a particular credential.

| Duties: | Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Administers review process for credentials offered through CCE [Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), Distance Credentialed Counselor/Facilitator (DCC/DCF)] or contracted to CCE.
2. Communicates with certification applicants via email, written letter(s) and phone regarding application status, incomplete files, and requirements.
3. Maintains files throughout application review process.
4. Participates in review committee decisions regarding certifications as need arise.

Education/Experience:
Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred, Majors: English, communications
1 year related experience and/or training preferred;
Or, equivalent combination of education and experience;
Knowledge of higher education systems and counseling programs is helpful.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos;
Ability to write detailed professional correspondence;
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees of NBCC and/or its affiliates;
Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communication skills.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook.
