Duties: |
Ideal candidates will have In-Depth experience in all areas of retail automotive accounting. This is a working/hands-on position. Candidates need to know/understand all positions in automotive accounting office, as well as provide:
- Assistance to Corporate Officers in strategic planning
- Financial Statement management
- Short and Long-term Financial forecasts
- Cash management
- Property and Liability Insurance Management & Claims
- Reconciliation of General Ledger
- Compliance with all applicable government requirements and changes (tax codes, filing requirements, etc.)
- Management and oversight of all accounting personnel

Qualifications: |
Candidates Must Meet the Following Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience as a Controller (or at least 10 years experience as an Office Manager for a group of dealerships - 2 or more.)
- Experience in managing a staff of 4 or more.
- Ability to train accounting staff
- Proven track record
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong people management skills
- Very strong computer skills required
- Expertise in automotive accounting software
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred but not required for the experienced candidate
- C.P.A. certification is a plus
