Wiser, a leading engineering, geospatial, and architectural firm is experiencing rapid growth and is now seeking top-notch talent to join our successful teams. Currently, we are recruiting for a Geospatial Software Engineer in St. Louis. This position will involve developing geospatial software applications and tools for internal and external customers.

Duties: |
- Develop custom geospatial software applications in support of customer missions.
- Interface with clients to ensure a consistent and high level of satisfaction is maintained.
- Assist with developing of software requirements and the design of software.
- Perform software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications: |
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or geospatial fields is required.
- Previous experience with at least one major geospatial platform is required (ESRI, Socet Set, ERDAS, RemoteView, etc.)
- Experience developing software in a commercial or government setting using C, C++, or C#.
- GIS or ASPRS certification is preferred.
- Development with ESRI ArcObjects is preferred.
- Knowledge of common DoD and commercial mapping products is preferred.
- Strong ability to multitask between different projects.
- Must be able to adjust to unexpected changes in work demands.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with external clients as well as internal personnel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
