Description:

Boys Town South Florida is seeking applicants for several direct service positions providing in-home crisis intervention services or in home/school preventative services to children and families.

Family Consultants utilize a cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, and In Home Family Services Model of intervention to help families adopt positive solutions to problems through the teaching of skills and behavioral techniques. In addition, intervention is provided to improve youth and family psychological functioning by using an accessible service delivery system that is flexible, culturally competent, and responsive to the family.

These are Full time positions with flexible hours that may include nights and weekends, in order to be available at times that are convenient to families.

24/7 on-call duties during the week, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in the Social/Behavioral/Human Sciences, with 1-3 years experience working with at-risk children and families.

Knowledge of local social service resources and school system a plus.

Valid driver's license, valid auto liability insurance, and the ability to provide own transportation to complete travel requirements of the job.

Drug testing/Health screening required, EOE.
