Description: |
Thompson Engineering has an immediate need for inspectors for the oil clean up efforts. Position will be working off the Louisiana coast line, 14 days on/7 days off; working an average of 84 hours per week. Room and board will be provided on the barge vessel. The position is temporary and will last from 2 weeks to 5 months. Pay will begin at $15.00/hour and may be higher based on experience. Time and a-half will be paid for all work hours over 40 per week.

Qualifications: |
Must be at least 18 years of age
6 months past work experience in construction, civil engineering, field inspection or a related outside labor position.
Must have the ability to work in the outside elements for long periods of time.
Must be able to be away from home for 14 days at a time.
Must have a current drivers license and a safe driving record
Drug Screens are required
Provide proof of citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
