Description: | | Manages compliance of safety program to include meeting OSHA requirements, conducting training, and ensuring zero injuries and no lost time accidents. | Duties: | | Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills when leading teams. Manages a crew of 250+ individuals in a fast paced, production environment to include managing personnel actions, motivating work crews, conducting performance evaluations, establishing production standards, establishing quality standards, enforcing warehouse processes and taking appropriate corrective and preventative actions. Manages diverse projects to include cost reduction, quality/ productivity improvements, safety enhancements and ISO compliance. | Qualifications: | | Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Business OR 5-10 years experience in leading and managing large, high speed production environments to include experience in warehousing and inventory. Must be skilled in the use or ERPs and WMS applications. Must have a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Work, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Visio. It is desirable that the candidate speaks Spanish. Requires a much walking and physical exertion. |
