Description: | | LoanCare, a division of FNF Servicing, Inc., has an immediate opening for a GNMA Investor Liaison. The GNMA Investor Liaison is responsible for closely working with the Compliance Officer and familiarizes themselves with th GNMA guidelines to ensure all procedures are adhered to by each operational area. This position will spearhead weekly meetings with operational areas to address issues that may arise and will have the ability to make decisions to rectify the matter. In addition, the position will act as the liaison between LoanCare and GNMA. | Duties: | Work closely with Compliance Officer to ensure updated GNMA guidelines are interpreted, and process and procedures are implemented for each operational area. Establish and lead weekly meetings with operational and technology groups to ascertain potential issues or questions regarding the portfolio; ensure weekly reports are compiled and delivered to GNMA within service level requirements; review of monthly billing for accuracy; and operational timelines are met according to service levels. Will have reigning ability to make decisions as it relates to operational process changes and some limited approvals for waiving potential fees. Define and document required reports received from GNMA to Business Analyst and/ or operational areas. Review and analyze system and/ or Passport generated reports to identify potential operational trends or issues. Upon identifying trend, communicate to respective operational area or GNMA, and follow-up with each group to ensure changes have been implemented. Prepare client information packages prior to GNMA visit, if necessary. Coordinate with GNMA and LoanCare operational areas in instances for portfolio or loan sales. Spearhead and follow-up with operational, technology, compliance areas to ensure assigned tasks to meet GNMA contracts are adhered to. Establish and lead weekly conference call to review weekly management summary reports; organize and prepare two face to face meetings with GNMA; address performance that may arise from either organization. Monitor and ensure required funds are remitted to GNMA with the timeframe provided in the contract.
| Qualifications: | Ability to lead and make decisions to meet GNMA guidelines or service levels. Ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple priorities; strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written (grammatical) communication. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in administrative functions and ability to maintain an efficient follow up. Ability to represent the company in a positive, confident and professional manner. Strong knowledge of loan servicing. Analytical ability sufficient to detect problems in workflow procedures and service given and to take corrective actions to rectify problems or expedite services. Must be flexible and able to work independently with minimal supervision. 4 year college degree in business administration or mortgage banking certification. Minimum 3 years mortgage servicing experience. GNMA servicing guideline experience, required.
