Description: | Beacon Associates, Inc., a certified 8(a) woman-owned company, is growing and is seeking several Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Consultants to join our team in delivering high quality products and services to our clients, with a focus on completing client work in accordance with established timelines and quality standards.
The Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to clients in identifying and creatively solving complex problems, designing/restructuring critical processes, and fundamentally transforming the way an organization operates.
The OE Practice offers an integrated suite of proven strategies, methods, tools and skilled resources that help businesses and governments achieve high performance by transforming the performance of their people.
The OE Consultant will be a member of the Organizational Effectiveness Division focused on architecting and executing broad-based performance improvement and organizational development/change programs to help our clients achieve organization-wide growth, optimization, or reinvention.
| Duties: | Our OE Division hires OE Consultants in a 3-level model who will perform the duties below as follows: Level I will perform under the direction of leadership, Level II will perform with limited guidance, and Level III will lead these efforts.
OE Consultant Responsibilities include:
Help shape performance solutions to deliver value to the client
Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers across client organization
Perform business value diagnosis to surface organizational issues
Perform analysis, design, intervention selection, and development of systemic solutions
Integrate behavioral and social science principles with an understanding of organizational goals, systems, and strategies to maximize efficiency and drive outcomes of value
Assess and identify barriers to effective performance, organizational systems, and processes that limit the organizations potential for growth
Recommend systemic solutions that result in increased organizational effectiveness, alignment, and enhanced performance
Quantify the impact of solutions using pre- and post-intervention follow-up measures
Shape strategic change agendas
Coach business leaders and associates in support of their application of change principles and in working or leading through transition
Facilitate stakeholder workshops
Define capability and associated development programs for succession planning
| Qualifications: | Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; Master's degree preferred for mid and senior level roles
Some positions require certifications in Human Performance Improvement/Technology (HPI/HPT) or Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP)
Depending on the Level of position, qualifications will include:
(Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced) proficiency in organizational development, learning & development interventions, business process analysis/improvement, strategic planning, change management, and performance management
(Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced) proficiency in applying research, data gathering/ manipulation/ interpretation, and analytic problem solving skills
(Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced) proficiency in applying effective verbal/written communication skills active listening, timely and appropriate feedback, reading body language, crafting value-based messages based on audience
