Description:

Position will work out their residence and will be responsible for Safety and Health activities for Progress Rail locations in the eastern region of the United States.

Duties:

Serves as an internal consultant working with safety and plant management personnel at small reilroad related shops to implement a comprehensive safety program embracing all State and Federal safety rules and requirements.
Activitives include safety audits, inspections, training, risk management, counseling, coaching, and interface with OSHA, Legal, and Health Service providers.

Qualifications:

5+ Years multi-facility Health & Safety experience
Heavy industrial manufacturing experience preferred
Requires scientific, engineering or safety related college degree. Bachelor's degree from CHEA accredited college or university
CSP or CIH preferred
Position requires extensive travel
International experience a plus
Bi-Lingual a plus
Excellent oral, written & presentation skills
Practical experience with common business and Safety and Health computer applications
Potential for future relocation
