Description: |
| The Manager role is a progressive managerial position working in the department of membership sales, within a full-service fitness club.
This role will be responsible to provide the customer with knowledge and tours of the fitness facility, gain new members, provide critical customer service and retain existing members, and manage various aspects of the the sales teams' performance. |
Duties: |
| Personal Sales:
Give sales presentations and tours (walk-ins, appointments, guest passes, etc
)
Book appointments for tours- based on leads from lead boxes, member referrals, etc
Maintain assigned records of sales work
Present assigned sales reports to managers on a regular basis
Attend sales meetings, and department meetings when required
Establish, assimilate and follow up on old members
Participate in special events that may generate new members (ie. Trade shows and employee appreciation events)
Responsible for the attainment of sales quotas. Expected to be top sales producer of the sales team
Management:
Responsible to meet with sales team on a regular basis to manage programs and complete performance evaluations
Recruiting and interviewing of new sales staff
Support good communication among employees and members
Assist in selling of memberships via turnover (TOs)
Work with Team to maintain positive staff morale
Will have total authority for managing the club

Qualifications: |
| Key Functional Skills Required:
2-3 years Fitness Industry Experience
Excellent communication and promotional skills
Good public relations skills
Ability to speak clearly and confidently in front of groups and individual clients
Knowledge of Extreme Fitness services and products
Some computer skills required
Basic math skills
