Duties:

Senior level: PhD or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field with 5+ years relevant research experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in the design, construction and maintenance of optical workbenches with laser sources.
• Advanced Labview and Matlab programming experience.
• Strong understanding of optical theory in order to confidently troubleshoot and refine optical designs.
• High precision optical alignments.
• In addition to impeccable technical skills, successful candidates possess strong organizational, communication and team skills, and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Hands-on experience in the design, construction and maintenance of optical workbenches with laser sources.
• Advanced Labview and Matlab programming experience.
• Strong data acquisition skills and experience.
• Strong understanding of optical theory in order to confidently troubleshoot and refine optical designs.
• High precision optical alignments.
• In addition to impeccable technical skills, successful candidates possess strong organizational, communication and team skills, and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Qualifications:

• Additional experience in mechanical CAD, machine shop and opto-mechanical techniques.
• Experience with acousto-optic deflectors/modulators/high precision optics
• Signal to noise optimization (vibration isolation)
