| Thompson Engineering has an immediate career opportunity in our Knoxville, TN office for a Level II CE&I Insepector. This position is responsible for the daily inspection, testing, and reporting of heavy highway and/or bridge construction operations. |
Duties: |
| Responsibilities include the construction inspection, materials testing, and reporting of heavy roadway and/or bridge construction project operations. |
Qualifications: |
5 or more years construction inspection experience on heavy roadway and/or bridge projects including the construction inspection of roadway paving operations, excavation and embankment construction, utility (water, sewer and gas) construction, culvert and drainage structures construction, bridge construction, traffic control set-up, and erosion prevention and sediment control.
Certifications Needed:
Asphalt Roadway
Asphalt Plant
Soils & Aggregates
EPSC Level 1 and/or Storm Water Inspection
NICET Construction Materials
