Description: |
•The Systems Software Analyst functions as a liaison between KCMS customers and Systems development teams. The Analyst is responsible for interpreting business requirements, evaluating technical specifications and assisting in the production of test cases.
•Supporting both development and implementation – the Systems Software Analyst ensures clarity of customer business requirements and the accuracy of software changes.

Duties: |
•Facilitates operational workshops with the customer to document current business processes or regulatory requirements.
•Researches and recommends the best practice with the KCMS product that closely matches the customer’s current business processes or regulatory requirements.
•Develops detailed plans from basic project task descriptions for use by multiple groups: Key management, System Users, System Engineers.
•Creates the design specifications, flowcharts, and screen layouts necessary for documenting how KCMS features currently operate and depicting how they should operate; using a standardized business process modeling language.
•Interviews users, system engineers, and other subject matter experts to clarify business logic and system business requirements to obtain consensus from all groups on system design.
•Conducts research with regulators, industry experts, subject matter experts and others to design improvement methods required by the project document, to include present and future function improvements.
•Creates detailed level process documents of the KCMS product in a standardized format.
•Where there is not a best practice within the KCMS product, identifies and documents missing business requirements.
•Authors appropriate solutions to any business requirements, mitigating any risks and maximizing the ROI of the development.
•Creates and updates test cases and scenarios for user acceptance testing.

Qualifications: |
•Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, Management or similar discipline, certification from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
•Five to seven years of related experience in gathering functional requirements. Proven ability to quickly learn new software technology and applications. Strong technical writing, editing and proofreading skills required. Experience in casino management systems software or Gaming industry preferred.
