The Housekeeping Aide maintains a safe, sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment for all residents, visitors and staff. Cleans in assigned area, working under direct supervision. Must be pleasant, respectful and courteous to residents, families, visitors and fellow employees at all times. |
Duties: |
| Major job functions include: Peforming housekeeping duties in assigned work area. Thoroughly cleaning and vacuuming resident rooms and common areas on daily basis. Thoroughly cleaning resident bathrooms on daily basis. Cleans lounges, hallways, activity areas, nursing desks and all other public areas in assigned work area. Collects trash and recyclables from all rooms. Replenishes all dispensed paper products and dispensed soaps. Vacuums drapes and dusts blinds as scheduled. Orders weekly housekeeping supplies. Organizes cart, maintains proper supplies on cart including properly labeled cleaning products. Keeps cart locked and protects residents from accidental exposure to cleaning products. Promptly reports spills, unsafe conditions and items requiring repair. |
Qualifications: |
| Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to perform physical job demands of position. Must be able to work well with others, generating an atmosphere of cooperation. Exercises confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
This position works 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., 10 days in a pay period (75 hours/pay period), every other weekend only.
