Work Hours: Tu - Fri 9:00a - 6:30pm, Saturday 10:00am - 3:30pm

UHCU Remarketing, LLC, is a wholly owned subsidiary of United Heritage Credit Union.  The dealership offers pre-owned automobiles, mostly in the form of repossessed collateral and trade in units.

This is an opportunity for someone with basic mechanical skills, excellent customer service skills, proficient computer skills and a strong ability to multi-task. This position is primarily responsible for  the lot presentation and make ready of vehicles with a secondary focus on greeting customers and taking a transaction from test drive to completion of delivery, to include finance options. Additionally, the Lot Attendant will assist the manager internal and external marketing via multiple channels giving the candidate the opportunity to learn a business from beginning to end. 

Duties:

 

  • Completes immediate inspection of vehicles, identifies and documents condition; files insurance claims based on damages
  • Handles light vehicle maintenance (i.e., installing batteries and checking/replacing fluids) 
  • Maximizes the use of space and maintains the dealership lot
  • Marketing of vehicles via numerous channels, including internet and in print
  • Opening lot prior to business day and securing lot at end of business day
  • Answering telephones, and communicating appropriate information 
  •  Greeting customers, identifying their needs, arranging test drives, completing transaction and delivering vehicle

Qualifications:

 

  • Must be able to use the Microsoft Office programs and the internet
  • Needs to work independently to complete duties and additional assignments 
  • General knowledge of car dealerships and Texas state regulations for selling motor vehicles
  • Must be able to determine maintenance needs and resolve small maintenance issues
  • Previous experience in a customer service field preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license and provide proof of a good driving record
  • Must be bondable
