This position takes incoming calls from our members. This is not a telemarketing job!
Schedule: M,T,W,F: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Saturday: 8:15 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. Thursdays off |
Duties: |
• Provide Credit Union products and services to members to create a positive experience consistent with SLFCU’S Core Purpose.
• Answers questions about products and services.
• Interview members to determine financial needs, counsel and advise members of products, policies, rates, or factors that affect their decision making regarding financial planning and practices.
• Cross-sell relevant and appropriate SLFCU products and services.
• Promote and achieve good relations with members and co-workers.
• Support and strive to achieve goals established by the Board and management while operating within SLFCU’S core values.
• Make recommendations to Lending Officers when appropriate based on member information and requests.

Qualifications: |
• Must be able to work under pressure daily in a high volume environment.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Good written communication and math skills.
• Demonstrated ability to make good decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to train others in an appropriate manner. (knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and effective).
• Must be able to use computer terminal efficiently.
• Excellent oral communication skills; able to explain financial programs clearly and concisely to people with different levels of understanding.
• Must have demonstrated sales skills and a willingness and ability to apply those skills on the job.
• Good personal credit history required. High School Diploma or equivalent |
