| Vykin Corporation is currently looking for an experienced Secret cleared Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Technician III to join our team in Iraq. Duties: |
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to install, operate and maintain LMR, Emergency Mass Notification Systems (EMNS) and Public Address (PA) systems. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.

Qualifications: |
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates in Engineering or related field and/or at least (3) U.S. Military schools in electronic communications equipment or systems, and Grade E-6 or equivalent
- Minimum of ten (10) years of hands on work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment.
- Occasional travel (up to 10%)
- Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Land Mobile Radio Equipment to include:
ASTRO SPECTRA Mobile Radios and Base Stations
CENTRICOM Communications consoles
Repeaters, portables, base stations, and mobiles
XTS-3000, XTS-5000 and other various hand held radio networks
Trunked and non-trunked LMR systems
Key loaders, antennas, multi-couplers, duplexers
Public Address (PA) and Intercom Systems
Test equipment such as, service monitors/ communication system analyzers, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, frequency counters, power meters, spectrum analyzer
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work is typically performed within office or mobility shelters, which requires normal safety precautions; work will require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. Adherence and compliance with local site Command directives will be expected at all times. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation/unit in Iraq supporting a DoD customer. The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
