| The SQL Account Engagement Specialist (SQLS) V-AES will cover a specific addressable market such as Oracle Compete, Business Intelligence, Data warehousing or Data warehousing/BI in the US. The V-AES will drive velocity on qualified 20% opportunities provided from another Lead Dogs team and take those opportunities 40% of the closed sale. V-AES also hunt in "white space" and acquisition targets when needed to uncover and qualify new SQL opportunities. The V-AES will engage the appropriate sales channel to transfer the opportunity together with an evaluation plan and track the opportunity through close. |
Duties: |
- Calling prospective customers to influence software purchasing decisions in both a inquiry "warm call" and "cold call" environments, with the ability to generate interest and demand
- Achieving/exceeding a weekly quota of $80,000 in qualified 40% opportunities per week assuming an average sales value of $20,000.
- Proactively prospecting/ leveraging existing contacts
- Qualifying all leads & sales opportunities
- Establishing account strategies
- Leveraging business from new & established relationships
- Integrating with a virtual team of files sales representatives
- Working directly with customers and channel partners
- Meeting and exceeding calling activity specified by Manager

Qualifications: |
- Expertise and/or ability to sell to ‘C' level executives Microsoft products against competitive industry products
- Established "solution selling" expertise and illustrated by completed courses, certifications
- Self-starting, persistent, enthusiastic
- Demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in order to drive immediate results
- Previous Microsoft SQL or competitive database experience is required (Level 200)
- SQL Competitive Industry knowledge
- Experience in a variety of Microsoft technologies
- Superior, expert business development and business management skills
- Strong interpersonal communications
- Demonstrated record of consistently meeting or exceeding closed sales revenue goals
- Exhibit strong negotiation and conflict negotiation skills
- Effective within a team environment
- Minimum of 5 years or more sales experience
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor Degree attainment from The Lead Dogs University
- Consistent 100% attainment of client quota and revenue goals
