ADTRAN Co-op’s assignments vary with each student’s knowledge and abilities. The co-op will spend at least one term in a Design Engineering group working with the latest network technologies such as VoIP, IPTV, Broadband Access and cutting edge Routers/Switches.

Prospective co-ops must major in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Candidates need to have a good understanding of programming in C/C++ or Java, even if it is only through classroom exposure. GPA must be 3.0 or higher. Involvement in extra-curricular activities like IEEE, Eta Kappa Nu, intramural athletics, etc. is highly desired.

Qualifications:

3.0 GPA, Minimum 30hrs completed coursework in an accredited university pursuing a degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
