| The Assistant Manager performs many of the same tasks as the Property Manager including leasing, marketing, accounting, maintenance, resident relations, and management reporting policies, but under the direction of the Property Manager. The Assistant Manager should be fully capable of operating the property in the absence of the Property Manager. |
Duties: |
General Duties
1. Have ability to perform all functions of the On-Site property management software.
2. Answer telephone.
3. Aide in leasing activities and resident relations.
4. Implement the monthly Renewal/Resident Retention Program.
5. Follow-up on all notices to vacate to attempt to reverse the notices. When needed, contact the Property Manager for assistance.
6. Complete the Asset Management Trend Report accurately and on time.
7. Maintain courteous and helpful attitude to residents and prospective residents.
8. Plan social activities as directed by the Property Manager.
9. Comply with Company policies and procedures.
10. Inspect vacant apartments following move-out with the resident.
11. Checks move-outs and schedule apartments for turnkey.
12. Inspect apartments to ensure readiness in adherence to Company standards.
13. Prepare the monthly newsletter.
14. Monitor the leasing staff to ensure the daily Activity Reports, telephone traffic log, and other leasing activity forms are being accurately completed in a timely manner.
15. Complete the Utility Log and monitor usage.
16. Write up service requests.
D. Occasional Duties

Qualifications: |
• High school diploma or GED.
• Business school, college or other accredited courses in management, accounting or marketing helpful.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Must have the ability to work with and understand persons of all ethnic and educational backgrounds.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively (by telephone and written correspondence).
• Must be well groomed, professionally attired and pleasant to work with.
• Be able to complete the job functions of a Leasing Consultant.
• One to two years of leasing experience.
• Collection experience.
