We have an immediate opening for a Professional Sales Representative in our Salt Lake operation. Candidates must have 3 years of proven Sales Experience. • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
• Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
• Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, telephone canvassing, fact to face cold calling, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
• Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
• Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
| Qualifications: | • BS degree in Sales or Business preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience with a long sales cycle product preferred
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• A collaborative style, proactively builds strong, supportive relationships
• Ability to build key relationships in the market
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-thinking skills
• Strong understanding of business processes and associated performance metrics
