With a department of 60, HPU has one of the largest and most progressive private security programs in the region. We are seeking well-qualified candidates to fill multiple 2nd and 3rd, shift openings beginning in June.
Duties include foot and vehicle patrol, static post coverage, crime deterrence and detection, facility issue identification and reporting, call for service response, policy infraction investigation, report writing and over-all campus service and protection.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 21 years of age
Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED
Pass a written psych/intelligence test
Pass a job-related physical fitness test (running up stairs and thru building with fire extinguisher)
Acceptable completion of written exercise(s)
At least two verifiable employer
• No criminal convictions in the past seven years
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
•. Negative result on pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard.
• Professional appearance
• Professional and approachable demeanor
• Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site.
Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Capable of standing for long periods
• Valid NC Driver's License
• No moving violations in past three years
• No alcohol related moving violations within the past seven years
