Duties: |
Understand business requirements and act with urgency to fulfill responsibilities.
Participate in design and development of various web-based projects and Windows-based projects
Analyze and understand new and existing software components and requirements
Design, create, test, and implement services and components
Write maintainable code
Gather requirements and produce technical specifications
Check Concurrency, Thread Safety, Memory Usage, CPU Utilization, and Scalability
Investigate new technologies and weigh benefits/risks
Quickly become proficient with new technologies |
Qualifications: |
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math or Physics and a strong academic record
3+ years experience writing software in a variety of programs, including C++ and Java
Experience bringing software development projects to successful deployment
Experience with high performance computing, including building and executing programs on cloud computing platforms
Excellent debugging, problem solving and testing skills
Ability to produce fault tolerant, scalable, high performance software
Ability to investigate, document, and communicate technical information
Ability to solve complex problems and communicate issues effectively
Ability to write comprehensive design documentation
