| Must have theoretical knowledge of social services. Demonstrate technical and clinical skills including delivery of therapy. Focus on improving the client's quality of life and child well-being. |
Duties: |
Program - Assess client needs. Formulate and implement case treatment plans for individuals, children, families and/or groups.
- Utilize clinical tools and measurements in service delivery.
- Provide supervision to masters' level staff, student interns and volunteers when assigned.
- Report suspicions of child abuse and neglect according to Agency procedures.
Administrative - Adhere to performance standards, including completion of all paperwork in a professional manner within the designated time frames.
- Maintain a flexible schedule including evening and weekend work, as needed, to accommodate the needs of the program. Be accessible to assigned clients twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week via cell phone in accordance with program specifications.
- Notify supervisor to arrange for coverage during illness and paid time-off.
- Demonstrate professional responsibility in making effective use of individual supervision, agency resources and trainings.
Necessary Skills and Abilities - Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.
- Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently.
- Must regularly be able to see, speak and hear. Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, bend, use hands and arms and must occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be sensitive, flexible and responsive to gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion, age, sexual orientation or any other special needs as reflected in the ability to communicate with staff and/or clients.

Qualifications: |
- Masters degree required.
- Must have a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record.
