| POSITION SUMMARY: Seasonal position from late April to Oct. Transport property and merchandise to and from Ashford Office and operating units with strict adherence to driving safety and laws. Assist check-in and stocking of supplies. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: Company van, radio and property transport in van. Hand truck and pallet jack. NATURE AND SOURCE OF SUPERVISION: Receives working direction from the Ashford Warehouse Manager. |
Duties: |
| KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Promotes the spirit and intent of Guest Services Hospitality Standards. • Performs vehicle pre-trip safety inspection and maintains vehicle trip log. • Enforces safety rules for van riders. • Load product onto and off of van, often unassisted. • Initiate and maintain food temperature log of supplies transported on van. • Log and transport deposits from Sunrise and keep secure to the Ashford office. • Transport change orders from the Ashford Office Sunrise. • Transport soiled laundry from PI and NPI to Ashford and return clean laundry. • Pick-up recycling from PI, NPI, JVC and Sunrise and recycle in the proper containers at the Ashford Office. • Pick-up supplies in Seattle, Tacoma, Puyallup as required. • Performs such other related duties as directed or required |
Qualifications: |
| PREREQUISITES: Education: High School or equivalent. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • One year of similar job experience. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests, supervisors and employees. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines. Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, kneel, handle, reach and squat. Extensive walking and stair climbing. Good physical energy, stamina, and agility. Must withstand exposure to wet floors. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically. Must be able to sit for 2 hour periods of time. Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must be able to adapt to the isolation of park life. |
