We are looking for excellent Mechanical Design Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Engineering Analysts to join our team in full-time, long-term positions. We have multiple openings in the MidWest
| Duties: | Support the design and analysis activities associated with installing Tier 4 engines into existing air compressor and generator packages.
Will work with the design team to redesign the products and meet all requirements.
Engineering tasks will include:
• Gathering information from the engine manufacturers
• Reading and understanding engine installation requirements
• Communicating with suppliers to identify new heat exchangers and cooling fans
• Calculating and evaluating cooling performance of various design options
• Designing effective vibration isolation systems, including working with isolation mount suppliers
• Arranging analyses with outside resources, in areas such as structural, thermal, airflow, or acoustic emission
• Sending ProE models to outside resources for detailing, and checking the detailed drawings for completeness and conformance to Doosan standards
• Recommending test activities to evaluate new designs for performance and durability
• Evaluating test data to determine conformance to the product specification
