This is a full time position is working for our Client Company in the Indianapolis, IN
The company is a leading refiner and processor of specialty hydrocarbon products. This $3B company operates six plants, including operations in Northwest Louisiana, Pennsylvania Texas and Illinois
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
This position is responsible for coordinating and resolving issues concerning product concerns and questions that are generated either by customers, Technical Services group or manufacturing.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or GED, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology or related field is required.

| Duties: | JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Technical Services Group by providing technical assistance and advice concerning products, practices, and processes
Respond to customer inquiries concerning every aspect of products (behavior, purity, characteristics, handling, degradation, etc.)
Coordinate customer requests and manufacturing capabilities to provide win/win situations for the customer and the Company. Coordinate steps necessary to introduce new products into the Company system.
Provide regulatory information relative to all Company products
Perform cGMP audits on "toll processors" and maintain an updated working knowledge of FDA requirements as they apply to Company's operation
Develop product specifications
Resolve customer complaints/concerns in all areas including product performance or quality
Serve on various teams intended to develop/improve products/processes
Help develop and maintain all MSDS's for company
Host audits conducted by customers, evaluate audit responses, and coordinate resolution to audit findings. Relay this information to customer and follow-up
Perform internal quality audits, external supplier audits
| Qualifications: | EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Thorough knowledge of processing as it relates to manufacture of all Company Products. This would be complemented by basic refining knowledge.
Thorough product knowledge as it relates to companys products, performance, and application. This should include a good understanding of laboratory procedures.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Negotiation/Mediation skills to resolve issues/problems
Ability to work with teams, small groups, or as an individual with flexibility to maintain objectivity in confrontational situations
Knowledge of computers as well as required software or hardware packages
Flexibility to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and follow each to completion
Personal Care market and/or formulation experience preferred
Hands on client services or customer service experience required
