Description: |
| The Cloud Services Operations Lead performs a critical role in supporting the SaaS environment. This person is responsible for ensuring our cloud services customers are implemented quickly, accurately, and that the local Cloud Services Support team is enabled to support Cloud Services customers. The Operations Lead will liaise between local customers and global engineering resources on advanced technical issues. This person will be responsible for driving process improvement at the local level. This person will also perform Remote billable work for customers such as system builds and training. |
Duties: |
• Be responsible for quickly and efficiently resolving system related issues.
• Enable the local Cloud Services support team.
•Identify, document, and champion process improvement opportunities.
•Conduct systematic reviews of process and procedures.
•Identify new ideas to improve security, scalability and reliability.
•Create and maintain accurate documentation on the environment, department processes and procedures.
•Work with hosting provider in performing necessary maintenance and implementation operations.
•Work directly with clients to configure software installation remotely.
•Work directly with clients to upgrade software remotely.
•Provide remote, billable training services to customers

•Strong Linux administration Skills
•Experience working with Microsoft Operating Systems
•Strong Apache administration experience
•MSSQL Server experience preferred
•Strong MYSQL Server experience preferred
•Strong PostgresSQLServer experience preferred
•Basic knowledge of Information Security best practices is preferred. Industry recognized security certification is a plus.
•Experience with Virtualization technologies preferred
•Experience with Network Monitoring and optimization technologies preferred
