Business Development/Marketing Manager

Description:

Assist branch personnel in achieving annual sales objectives by providing marketing, sales and business development leadership. The incumbent will work with branch, regional, and corporate personnel to develop and implement a variety of sales and marketing programs that are tailored to fit the needs of the branches they support. This position is a primary resource to meet and/or exceed the corporate objectives of sales volume growth, customer development, and new business acquisition.

Duties:

1.      Develop Branch Marketing Plans.

2.      Coordinate newsletters, email blasts, branch mailings, and other customer pieces.

3.      Schedule and coordinate seminars, presentations, and workshops.

4.      Identify, research, and network with potential, new key accounts.

5.      Where appropriate, re-establish contact with former key accounts.

6.      Assist branch personnel in the development and presentation of large bid proposals.

7.      Coordinate marketing efforts with corporate programs (Weathervane, trade shows, etc.).

8.      Participate in professional trade associations as appropriate (BOMA, ACI, CSI, IRMI etc.).

9.      Supervise the development and implementation of the Branch Sales Plans.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of the New York market

•·         College degree in Business with a marketing or communications concentration, or related field preferred

•·         Demonstrated skills and interest in a related construction or contracting environment is preferred.

•·         5+  years relevant contracting construction experience is preferred.

•·         Extensive travel

•·         Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

•·         Must have the ability to work independently and be self motivated; capable of following predetermined objectives
