Description:

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing installation, optioning, diagnostic and coin testing of gaming slot machines and peripherals. This includes supervising Field Service Technicians performing fault analysis, fault isolation, and repair of failures in systems and assemblies of KGI gaming machines and ensuring prompt, open, complete communication between customer and company personnel.

Duties:

 Provides customer support and satisfaction by phone and in person and schedules installations with customers and internal personnel.
 Promotes speedy resolution to field service problems, including supervising the troubleshooting of equipment, customer complaints, and delivery problems.
 Ensures that all customer calls for service and support are properly received, logged, and tracked until resolution is achieved.
 Supervises the correct operation and maintenance of: Game and progressive installs at customer locations.
 Organizes and oversees call tracking, case monitoring and problem resolution within assigned area.
 Responsible for inventory tracking of FST’s vans in assigned area.
 Participates in planning personnel schedules, ensuring safety training, and contingency planning for unforeseen circumstances in assigned area.
 Serves as a liaison to sales, engineering, manufacturing and other departments to ensure issues are taken care of in assigned area.
 Maintains field service inventory, vehicles and real property, and safety and security of field service resources in assigned area.
 Ensures policies, procedures, and efficient revisions are implemented and followed by employees assigned in area.
 Oversees the maintenance of records and files pertaining to field service and its personnel, to include work schedules and priorities for the effective utilization of personnel and equipment.
 Reports to Field Service Manager any discrepancies or problems requiring resolution.
 Ensures the health, safety and welfare of all employees, visitors and contractors within area of control.
 Ensures all relevant sections of the Health and Safety Management plan are implemented and understood.
 Consults with team on any proposed changes that may affect occupational health and safety at the workplace.
 Ensures accident and incident investigations are conducted to determine causes and take appropriate corrective action as required.
 Ensures compliance with all relevant health and safety legislative requirements
 Escalates all level 2 or technical issues to the Director of Field Services when required.
 Performs other duties as assigned.

 Directly supervises four or more non-supervisory employees, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws.

 Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining; addressing complaints and resolving issues.

Qualifications:

 Associate’s degree or technical school diploma minimum requirement, or an equivalent combination of education and gaming industry experience.

 Experience in the installation and maintenance of slot machines in supervisory position is preferred but not required. Some Supervisory experience in field service repair is required.


 Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures or amounts (discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, area, percentages, circumference, & volume.


 Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
