We are actively recruiting a .NET Developer to join our SharePoint team. This important position will be part of our SharePoint practice area, and requires:
*Solution development with: .NET; C#; SQL; XML, Web Services, WCF and the SharePoint object model, API's, framework, and web services.
*Participating in the requirements definition, design, development and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint solutions for our clients-together with Microsoft, other technology partners and in collaboration with other Meritide business units.
*Employing the methods and processes to deliver high quality solutions for clients, using Microsoft SureStep, solid project management and process disciplines.
*Working closely with other teams in Meritide's Microsoft practice areas, such as the Sales and Marketing organization, to create market-based solutions using SharePoint capabilities.
*The skills, attributes, and traits needed to contribute in a culture that succeeds in a competitive and changing market without compromising work/home life balance. Desired Qualifications
*Experience developing application solutions on Microsoft ASP.NET using C# and / or VB.NET
*Some Exposure to the SharePoint 2010 Object Model
*Hands-on experience using the following technologies:
-MS Visual Studio 2010
-Silverlight
-SharePoint Designer
Other qualifications that are beneficial:
*Experience developing on the SharePoint platform utilizing .NET, SOAP / Web Services
*SharePoint certifications including:
-MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Application Development Certification
-MCPD: SharePoint Developer 2010 Certification
-MCTS: Microsoft OFfice SharePoint - Application Development Certification
*Experience writing timer jobs, workflows, or SharePoint event receivers
*Experience with the SharePoint 2010 BCS
