Description: |
| Heavy lifting involved. Will accept donations from the general public and provide them with a receipt. Will keep donations sorted according to categories in the centers and keep the surrounding areas neat and clean. Price donations per established guidelines. |
Duties: |
| Must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends and early evenings. Must be able to work in various weather conditions on a continuous basis (i.e. extreme cold, heat). Must be able to work without close supervision. Must be honest and dependable. Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance. Must be able to safely handle heavy objects. Must be able to perform housekeeping duties (vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and cleaning restrooms).
Medium lifting (25 pounds) is frequent and continuous, heavy work is occasional (50+ pounds).
Physical demands include lifting, reaching, pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, handling, fingering, talking, hearing and satisfactory eyesight. |
Qualifications: |
| High School education or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read and write legibly.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Must have a pleasant personality and a well-groomed appearance. |
