Description: |
Directs, supervises and coordinates plant maintenance activities. Maintains close surveillance over operations to assure schedules, quality of workmanship, utilization of personnel and trade skills, effective preventative maintenance, proper diagnosis of machine and equipment malfunction and to analyze extent of scope of needed maintenance. |
Qualifications: |
| Vocational or high school graduate or apprenticeship/trades training. Four to five years on maintenance work. Must be mechanically inclined and a quick learner. Must have in depth knowledge of 3 phase electrical to 480 phase. Must be familiar with OSHA, EPA requirements as well as local codes. Must have experience with cranes and hoists and must have a working knowledge of repairs and maintenance of motors, controls, hydraulics and pneumatics. |
