Description: |
Position based in Afghanistan. Rotation: 4 month on and 2 weeks off.

Duties: |
Supervise foreman and daily laborers on day-to-day basis, building their capacity and providing support to strengthen their skills
Assist the Project manager in the implementation of projects as planned according to developed technical standards, schedules and timelines
Check the quality and accuracy of every service of construction.
Develop and maintain efficient information systems about the ongoing construction works.
Prepare weekly reports about the works of the constructions, foresight of supplies; include progress against objectives, obstacles encountered and proposed solutions, and plans for following period.
Monitor and direct the project activities to meet the project objectives in terms of quality of work and within the agreed timelines.

Qualifications: |
1. Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and bill of quantities.
2. Must be flexible and willing to work under challenging work conditions.
3. Ability to work with beneficiaries.
4. Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible and respectful team player.
previous experience in Iraq or Afghanistan would be an advantage |
