Description: |
Responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of the Branch.
Ensures established policies and procedures are followed. Oversees provision of a full range of
services to members and prospective members. Ensures members are promptly and
professionally served. Creates and fosters a work environment which encourages a well-trained
and committed staff that consistently delivers superior service and achieves high performance
related to credit union sales targets
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
Occasional Saturdays 8:30am-2:30pm |
Duties: |
• Manages the branch as an income center to achieve income and expense targets.
• Participate in the development of branch performance standards in areas such as
operating loss control, teller levels of experience, bank secrecy and compliance with
corporate policies and procedures.
• Oversee the direction of the branch staff to assure effective utilization of personnel,
timely and objective performance evaluations, equitable salary structure and identifiable
career paths for qualified and interested candidates.
• Manage vault change fund and all duties required to successfully maintain appropriate
fund for branch and assigned ATM.
• Participates in the development of sales and service goals and targets.
• Provides leadership through effective goals setting.
• Communicates regularly with staff progress towards goals.
• Reports to senior management the results of all branch sales and service goals and targets
on a monthly basis.
• Participates in community activities within the reach of the credit union to enhance public
awareness and to leave a positive impression of the credit union. |
Qualifications: |
• Over three years, up to and including five years of experience in a related field required.
• Knowledge of lending industry and current economic conditions. Must be thoroughly familiar with Credit Union policies, procedures and services.
• Knowledge of investment options. Working knowledge of the credit union's in-house computer system.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of negotiable instruments and various laws and regulations related to Credit Union operations, including Regulation E, Regulation CC, Regulation D, Regulation DD, Regulation GG, Regulation J, Federal Reserve Bank rules and procedures, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/AML/ $ OFAC), CIP, FACTA, Regulation Z, Regulation B, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices and related statutes.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this job. Must have the ability to report to
work on time and on a regular basis.
• Must be able to effectively supervise, counsel, train, schedule and manage subordinate
employees.
