A Servant’s Heart Senior Care is currently interviewing for Caregivers to join our fast-growing company. We provide top-notch, high-quality non-medical care to Seniors in their homes and we’ve been doing so since 2003. Our clients are able to live independently with dignity, safety and security in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible, with in-home care from our Caregivers.
In addition to having many shift opportunities available, A Servant’s Heart offers the following:
•Competitive hourly and live-in pay plus additional compensation incentives
•Premium pay on legal holidays
•Hourly shifts that are 4 to 12 hours long

Duties: |
• Provide non-medical care for clients in their homes, maintaining the clients’ dignity, safety and security.
•Carry out tasks specified in the client’s plans of care, which may include:
oAssisting in bathing/personal hygiene
oPreparing nutritious meals
oDoing light housekeeping duties and/or laundry
oTransporting clients to locations outside the home, such as going to physicians' offices or going on outings.
•Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.
•Participate in case reviews, consulting with the team caring for the client, to evaluate the client's needs and plan for continuing services.

Qualifications: |
•Must have an genuine desire to work with seniors and/or disabled individuals
•Must have a strong service oriented attitude, a high level of integrity and a proven track record of trustworthiness
•Must have the ability to actively listen and be socially perceptive in order to assess client’s needs
•Must be able to develop and construct personal relationships with clients and maintain them over time
•Must be able to communicate client needs effectively to the Operations Manager
•Must be able to manage time well – punctual in arriving at client’s homes and/or client’s personal appointments
•Must be able to work without direct supervision
•Must be willing to learn and be flexible with the changing needs of clients and the needs of the organization
•High School Diploma or GED required
•At least one year of recent, in-home care experience preferred
•CNA, HHA preferred but not required
•Be able to read, write, understand and speak English clearly
•Must have proof of valid/current auto registration auto insurance, and a good driving record
•Must have no misdemeanor or felony convictions
