Nelson Labs is a contract Microbiology testing lab located in Salt Lake City, Utah. We help the best companies in the world improve the quality of life by providing the highest standard in laboratory testing. We work with some of the top medical device and pharmaceutical companies in the world, including many fortune 500 companies.
It is our goal to exceed our customers' expectations. Would you like to be part of this winning team? We are looking for two Sales Assistants that are looking for a challenge and growth opportunity. This position will support the sales team by providing amazing internal customer service, sample and project tacking. Successful Sales Assistants can anticipate future advancement to the position of Sales Associate.
Nelson Laboratories is looking for a one full-time Sales Assistants.
Hours are Monday-Friday 8/9:00AM 5/6:00PM.

Duties: |
Lead follow-up and qualification:
o Telephone calls to customers, leads from webinars and tradeshows
Project management:
o Coordinate with and maintain good relationships with the technical departments, and all areas of the company.
o Develop alignment of goals between sales and lab departments.
Sample tracking and reporting Login through reporting
Know and follow the Nelson service standard.
Job requirements:
Must be able to communicate effectively (English)
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must be willing and able to learn technical aspects of microbiology/medical device testing
Must have good verbal and written communication skills; including legible handwriting
Must be able to follow directions, organize and follow through on projects
Must be able to manage time for maximum productivity
Must be able to respond to voicemails, emails and other communications in a timely manner.
Must have basic computer skills- general knowledge of Microsoft Office

Qualifications: |
High School Diploma or Equivalent and five years experience in sales/customer service or AA/BS degree with two years experience in sales/customer service.
Preference given to Project Management, Biotech industry experience, and Biology background. |
