POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of an RN, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides direct patient care. The LVN observes and documents the patient's medical progress and nursing status changes under the direction of a registered nurse. This position provides direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. |
Duties: |
Ability to maintain assigned work hours: Has sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods of work hours. Ability to travel to all business locations. |
Qualifications: |
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires the completion of a Licensed Pratical Nursing program from an accredited school, current California State licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, current CPR certification, one year experience as an LPN/LVN.
* Required strong nursing skills with at least 2 to 5 years med-surge experience*Pediatric and trach/vent experience is a plus
* Making home visits within Contra Costa and Solano Counties
