Description:

Full time patient account specialist needed for a high energy, performance focused medical billing/collection agency with a very competitive commission program and a tremendous benefits package. Ideal candidate should possess the following: Self motivated individual with strong customer service attitude, communication, negotiation, and computer skills. Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a strong desire to achieve individual and team goals.

Duties:

Successful candidate will be resolving and collecting unpaid medical claims with patients via telephone. Communicates with patients via telephone to inform, negotiate and collect on past due accounts. Notate accurate communications with patient. Maintain HIPAA confidentiality while working accounts.

Qualifications:

Computer, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and other office software applications, verbal/written communication and math skills. At least 1 year of customer service and/or medical collection background is preferred. Bi-lingual a plus. Must pass a drug test and a pre-employment background check.
