Part Time Financial Service Associate I (Call Center)

Description:

Actively promotes a work environment within the MSC Department that consistently
delivers superior service to all Credit Union members and employees within the Credit Union.
Provides a variety of services to members by disclosing account information, researching,
correcting errors, completing transactions, record keeping, and introducing new products and
services to members.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a-2:30p with occasional Saturdays.

Duties:

•Focus on providing outstanding customer service, including identifying new products and services to members that need them, through all means of not-in-person contact, including phone, email, chat, etc.

Provides the highest quality service and information to members via telephone conversation

• Answers all calls in a timely manner to meet or exceed departmental goals and expectations

• Accurately services member accounts

Takes ownership of reported problems, and drives them through to resolution.

• Cross-sells Credit Union services to members by recognizing their needs

• Identifies and escalates calls to the proper destination for resolution

• Foster a supportive role towards Velocity’s core values, service commitments, and
customer service best practices.

• Strong desire to learn process, procedure, products and services

• Must have the ability to project a positive, professional image at all times, and must be able to interact with difficult people in stressful situations in a calm, rational manner

• Must have good public relations skills in order to serve members, employees, and cross-sell services well.

• Attention to detail and efficiency


• Reliable, dependable and respectful work ethic

• High sense of willingness and a positive attitude

• Must be able to effectively use Microsoft Windows, common office applications, and common office equipment.

• Must be able to accurately type 40 WPM.
