Account Receivable Analyst

Duties:

• Contact delinquent account holders by telephone or in writing and request payment to bring the account current.
• Establish alternative payment plans or other process for payment of delinquent accounts.
• Follow up with customers on established payment plans.
• Document collection activities and recommends charge-offs.
• Contact writers of insufficient checks to collect funds.
• Research and process customer claims of invoice payment.
• Call and/or mail correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts.
• Answer accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up.
• Obtain and mail invoice/statement copies for customers, as requested.
• Process daily credit card receipts.
• Enter finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.
• File check stubs and bank receipts.
• Prepare daily cash deposits.
• Assist with related special projects, as required.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable/collections.
• Excellent telephone manner with clear, concise and professional communication skills.
• Well-developed computer skills with a high level of accuracy required.
