Description: |
| To assess, diagnose, and treat speech and swallowing related disorders, including those which deal with language, voice, and cognitive communication. |
Duties: |
Specific job functions include, but are not limited to:
1) Provide individualized speech/language assessment and treatment within a child development center setting as part of a dynamic and compassionate team of therapy professionals.
2) Provide family friendly parent/caregiver/teacher training for implementation of the child's therapy plan.
Minimal travel may be required. |
Qualifications: |
Master's degree in speech language pathology from an accredited college or university; and one year related experience and/or training.
Florida Speech Language Pathologist License
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association
Medicaid and NPI Number eligible
Florida Early Steps provider a plus
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Proficiency in the following areas is a plus:
1) Early Language Development
2) Second Language Acquisition
3) Phonological Processes
4) Oral Motor
5) Feeding
6) Early Intervention
7) Autism |
